This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 25, 2026. It describes Orick’s published privacy commitments, how this website works, account-deletion guidance, and strict zero-tolerance rules against child exploitation and terrorism. App and provider practices identified below still require confirmation by the operator.

Last revised November 1, 2026. The official effective date remains October 25, 2026.

Scope & responsible operator

Orick is a community application developed under the Buddylynk name. It includes account features, Earth communities, Countries, Citys, messaging, and shared media. This policy distinguishes the supporting website from the app and its backend.

The operator is responsible for meeting applicable privacy obligations. The responsible legal entity, any required representative details, and app/provider practices still require owner confirmation. For privacy inquiries, statutory rights requests, or regulatory communications, contact support@buddylynk.com.

For privacy questions, contact support@buddylynk.com. The Terms of Service addresses use of the service; it does not replace privacy information or any consent required by law.

Where law requires a legal basis, Orick relies upon providing a requested service, complying with statutory legal obligations, protecting the vital interests of individuals, and legitimate interests in maintaining platform safety and integrity.

Using the website or accepting terms is not blanket consent to every kind of processing. Where consent is required under applicable law, appropriate specific consent is requested and may be withdrawn at any time.

Website, cookies & browser storage

The current website loads its styles, fonts, scripts, and images from its own site. Its source contains no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, embedded media, tracking SDKs, or external font requests. Website scripts do not set cookies or write to local storage, session storage, or IndexedDB.

Menu state, reading progress, and garden motion preferences stay in page memory. This implementation does not send them to an analytics endpoint. Browsers may cache ordinary resources according to browser behavior and the hosting configuration.

The Account Deletion page’s optional Copy email control writes the Support address to your clipboard only after you select it. It does not read the clipboard. Email links open your chosen mail application with an address or draft; you must review and send the message. No website form submits account or privacy information.

Following a Google Play or other external link takes you to a separate service with its own practices. Hosting, CDN, reverse-proxy, access-log, and security settings are separate from the website scripts and must be confirmed by the operator.

Sharing & recipients

Shared content is intended for the recipients or community members allowed by the relevant feature and access settings. Community leaders may have access associated with their roles. Check the audience before posting personal information. A private space cannot prevent someone from making an independent copy.

The service may use providers for hosting, media storage, push notifications, email, security, and diagnostics. The operator must confirm the actual recipients, processing locations, purposes, and contractual safeguards. This website’s local assets do not establish the app’s provider arrangements.

Disclosure for a legal request, emergency, or investigation must have a lawful basis, be appropriately limited, and follow applicable safeguards. This is not blanket permission to disclose information; the operator confirms procedures that apply.

Orick maintains a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE/CSAM), terrorism, terrorist financing, incitement to violence, and violent extremism worldwide. The operator must report to competent authorities and preserve or disclose relevant records when required by applicable law or valid legal process. Access to retained evidence must be restricted, and disclosure limited to what is lawful and necessary. The Child Safety Standards explain reporting and enforcement; this page does not establish an automatic referral to every national or international agency.

The website currently includes no advertising or analytics integrations. Whether the app or a provider sells or shares personal information, uses it for targeted advertising, trains models with it, or performs another secondary use has not been verified. Silence in this policy is not permission for those uses.

Retention & deletion

The Account & Data Deletion page reproduces Orick’s published process: email review and scheduling within 48 hours, a primary-system purge window of up to 30 days, and a 30-day snapshot lifecycle, subject to verification and limited legal, security, or regulatory preservation.

These are published service commitments, not a universal legal deadline or a backend guarantee established by this website. Ask Support to confirm when each period starts, the records covered, service-provider and backup handling, and any applicable exception for your request.

Retention for active accounts, support messages, technical and security logs, individually deleted content, and moderation records is limited to periods necessary to fulfill the intended purposes or comply with legal requirements.

Deleting data held by Orick cannot remove screenshots, exports, or independent copies saved by recipients. Media cached on a device must also be distinguished from service-side storage. Contact Support to ask how a particular record is handled.

Security & international processing

Orick’s published product information describes encryption, account isolation, and restricted access controls. The operator must confirm the safeguards actually used for each data flow, including encryption coverage, access restrictions, and provider controls. This website does not establish end-to-end encryption or certify the app’s security implementation.

Keep passwords and sign-in codes private, update your devices, and contact Support about suspected security problems. Do not send identity documents or account secrets through ordinary email unless a verified support process explains a secure and necessary method.

Cross-border processing, if used, must have an appropriate legal basis and the safeguards required by applicable law. The operator must confirm processing countries, recipients, and any applicable international-transfer contracts or frameworks before describing them as implemented.

Your choices & rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, or exercise applicable opt-out and appeal rights.

Some rights have conditions or exceptions. A response may require proportionate identity verification. Inquiries are handled in accordance with statutory requirements and deadlines.

You may also have a right to complain to a competent data-protection authority or use another lawful remedy. Contacting Support does not waive that right.

Contact Support about your data

Explain what you would like to access, correct, or remove. Include only the account identifiers needed to locate your account.

Email a privacy request

Opens an email draft. You must review and send it. This page does not submit the request or confirm processing. Do not include your password or verification codes.

For full account deletion, read the deletion instructions.

Age requirements

Orick requires users to meet the minimum age of 13 years (or the applicable legal age in your jurisdiction). Users under the age of majority must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

If you believe an account is being used contrary to the applicable age requirements, contact Support with relevant account information. Avoid sending extra personal details about a young person unless necessary and a suitable handling process has been explained.

Orick prohibits child sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, and CSAM worldwide. The Child Safety Standards & CSAE Policy explains the prohibited conduct, available reporting contact, enforcement rules, evidence-preservation safeguards, and review rights.

Contact & policy changes

This policy is effective as of October 25, 2026. Material updates to this policy will be communicated through the app or website, with renewed consent obtained where required by law.
